They’re now available with a new, timeless colourway: dark blue with natural cork accents. The durable upper material is made of recycled polyester whilst the sole gives old rice husks a new life and mixes in natural rubber for extra comfort. The insoles, made from cork and recycled materials, provide extra cushioning. Even the shoelaces are made from recycled polyester with metal tips. These stylish sneakers can be worn for anything – whether you’re heading to uni, walking the dog or skating at the skate park. They’re a real bleed all rounder, on top of being eco-friendly and fairly produced.
#walkingwithoutfootprints – The ECO4 Sneaker is a climate-neutral product. Through Bleed’s consistent use of high-quality recycling materials and preferably local sourcing, they have managed to reduce the CO2 footprint per shoe to less than 4kg. They have had the remaining 4kg of CO2 carbon neutralised by ClimatePartner. They’re supporting a large forest project in Kenya to fight climate change and protect important habitats.
